Troy Dinkel


Coach Troy just completed his first season as the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Westfield High School after relocating back from California to his Home State.  Troy was named the 2018 Indiana High School Lacrosse Association US Lacrosse Coach of the Year for his work leading the Shamrocks this season.  He is also in his first Season with Indy Elite.

Prior to returning home, he was the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Burlingame High School for the past 3 years leading the Panthers to a Conference Championship in 2016, then the Team repeating in 2017. He was name the PAL Ocean Coach of the year in 2016.

Before Burlingame High School, Coach Troy was the Head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach at Serra High School and Interim Head Coach in 2012. Coaching in the WCLA against the some of the West Coasts top High Schools, they finished 3rd in the two seasons he was with the program.

Outside of his High School’s, Coach Troy has coached with Team Nor-Cal and The Encore Aces. In those years he has coached several, MCLA 1 and 2 as well as NCAA 1, 2, and 3 Players, some even in the MLL currently.

Coach Troy played Lacrosse at Ball State University where he graduated with a Bachelors in Sport Administration and Marketing. He was their Captain his Junior and Senior year and has continued to play Post-Collegiately for teams in Florida, California, and Indiana.
